The Babies are Home!

Yesterday Libby and Logan came home. Jenni dressed them in beautiful pink dresses and they looked darling. They are finally home after a 7 week stay in the NICU. They came home with heart monitors, but they now both weigh well over 5 pounds. Jeff and Jenni already have them on a great schedule and are so happy to finally bring them home.

Larry and I had a great visit with the girls this morning. Jeff was holding Logan right before Jenni fed her and Libby was still sleeping. Libby now weighs 5 lbs and 1.7 ounces and Logan is up to 5 lbs and 8.2 ounces! If everything goes well, the babies might get to come home next week!

It's almost Jenni's first Mother's Day! The girls have really enjoyed their visit with Uncle Michael. He has been to the hospital four times already! Libby now weighs 4 lbs. and 8.2 ounces and Logan is up to 5.1 pounds!

Uncle Michael's here from Austin! He flew in today and Larry took him straight to St. Vincent's to meet the girls. He got to hold Libby!

It was exciting last night at the NICU. Jeff was busy giving Libby her bottle and he is such a caring Daddy! I got to hold Logan for the first time. It was one of the most precious moments of my life! She just looked up at me and cooed! I couldn't help it, I cried. Connie held the girls earlier for the first time. We are so blessed with these beautiful girls. Libby now weighs over 4 pounds and Logan is up to 4 pounds and 12 ounces!

It was a busy night at the NICU! Jeff and Jenni were there, of course, and Marilyn, Chris, Cassandra, baby Callie, and I were all there also to visit with Logan and Libby. Libby now weighs 4 lbs. and 1.8 oz. and Logan is up to 4 lbs. and 8.5 oz.! They are taking 6 bottles each every day! The feeding tubes have been removed. The girls are in a crib together. PTL!!
